David Harper

Retired EE. These days my main hobbies are home automation and embedded systems development. First started using Linux in the early 90's but, as Windows became more robust and offered many development tools, it became my main OS. Recently I've used the Raspberry Pi in a number of data logging applications which has rekindled my interest in Linux. I'm finding that Linux now offers most of the same (or similar) development tools that I am using under Windows. Seriously looking into the possibility of making Linux (Ubuntu) my main OS going forward.
