Solution Dependency Viewer by Microsoft for Visual Studio 2013.
Solution Dependency Viewer provides a graph layer to the solution with
projects represented as nodes and project references represented as
links between nodes.
It seems to fill at least half of your requirements:
It runs on at least Windows 7 - 10 (as does Visual Studio ...
Maybe I'm a bit impatient waiting for an answer. I checked out how difficult it is to implement such an extension and I'm proud to provide you the Code Golf File Size Extension for Visual Studio 2013.
Notice the green number on the bottom right of the text editor.
Why it is an answer:
Is a Visual Studio 2013 extension
Works on Windows 7 SP1 x64
Trello is a free, closed source collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what's being worked on, who's working on what, and where something is in a process. Trello works on desktop, mobile and Trello web application. The Trello web application supports Chrome, Internet Explorer 11/Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Would it happen to be something like VisualSVN for Visual Studio? I remember using it before I made the switch to git, and VS2012. It can be free, depending on usage. There's also one for git, if you prefer.
Unfortunately, there really doesn't seem to be an agnostic solution, as having a source integrator dealing with two different repository types could be ...
Having done software development at an enterprise level, I’m always looking for tools that help my team build better code that’s as secure as possible. There are several different tools that you’ll want to look at deepening on your needs and budget.
A tool I’ve used for doing penetration testing (that will look for things like DLL injection attacks) is ...
Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition supports Design view for HTML, but to enable this -in a website project - need to right click a file, and in "open with" options - select 'HTML (web forms ) Editor' - got this from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpoY1_YKGHQ . This works the same way in PRO and in Community versions.
BCGSoft has a control that's called CBCGPShellBreadcrumb. Here's what it looks like.
I use many of their controls. While their documentation is somewhat poor, they provide full source code. Unfortunately, in your case, at the moment, they don't have a version of their library for Visual Studio 2013 .net languages. They're pretty good at getting releases ...
PDF files are designed for displaying content and not for storing content in an organized manner. PDF files do not contain heading, subheadings or paragraphs. What you see on the PDF page as headings or paragraphs, inside the PDF file they are the same thing, some text written at fixed positions with different fonts so that visually you have headings or ...
Extension Productivity Power Tools 2015 has the functionality.
It is called Structure Visualizer and can be found illustrated at MSDN blog article under corresponding paragraph.
It adds 3 things:
colorful vertical lines connecting beginnings and endings of code blocks
code structure map if editor vertical scrollbar is switched to map mode
code popups (peek)...
Essential Grid for ASP.NET can be used to implement this, but each Grid has to be created separately as shown in this sample application. The sample application has two grids bound to SQL Datatable and use the QueryCellInfo event in common for both grids to change the background color of the cell based on the value.
Essential Studio is available for free ...
I might recommend Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). I've been using it for a while to record OpenGL/DirectX games, but it also has a mode for recording general desktop output.
OBS will allow you to record the output of your entire desktop or one or multiple windows. It will also allow you to optionally record your microphone. You can either save the output ...
After searching for over a week, it looks to me like the best option is actually an open source option on github. It looks like the databases I pointed to do not store the names of .dlls, so all a tool can do is gather as much metadata about the .dll as possible and do a cross check against a database of known vulnerabilities.
The DependencyCheck tool ...
Bourgeon plugin for Visual Studio (2013 and 2015 only) has exactly what you are looking for.
I would recommend Notepad++ to do all sorts of heavy duty file editing. The current version, 7.0, is a new release and when you go for the 64bit flavor, and compatible plugins/add-ons are few, currently. Many of the plugins which do so much of the formatting for various flavors of files have not yet been updated, but still work well with the prior versions.
While there are some Visual Studio components that provide the sort of information that you are asking for they tend to be limited to specific versions of VS.
I would suggest using doxygen - it is a free tool that can generate various formats to document C, C++ and other code. A good option is to have it generate html documentation, with diagrams such as ...
Well, it's still hard for me to believe any serious programmer's editor, let alone a full-featured IDE, is lacking this feature, but if you really need it, there is Trailing Whitespace Visualizer, which allows you to highlight whitespace and/or trim trailing whitespace upon saving (or on demand). It says it works with VS 2013, 2015, and 2017.

My team and I use Typemock's Isolator.
It supports .Net framework, MSTest, Nunit and Windows. You can run it on a developer machine as well.
We use the paid version, that I believe would be able to help you. There is a free version, though I'm not sure it can satisfy your needs.
Here is a quick 1 hour implementation of the software I was looking for.
It is in rough shape, error prone and not a turnkey solution. You will need to copy the class provided at the GitHub link and build an executable to use in your build process. This should be straight forward and only a few project references need to be added.
Google test grew out of the Cmockery C unit test project, which Google open sourced and abandoned, which now lives on as Cmocka.
I can highly recommend it from personal experience. However, I have only used it from Eclipse, not MSVC, so can’t guarantee anything.
AFAIK, MSVC will let you choose your toolchain, so you would only be using it for the GUI; ...
We started doing some tests with Google Test (which includes Google Mock) to get things going and see which problems will arise in practice. This is still a C++ testing framework, so the concerns from my question still apply, but it was easy to integrate so we just had to give it a try:
It's very easy to write a test (not much plumbing compared to some ...
Look into BlackDuck Software, they provide open source scanning with integration with Visual Studio for license compliance and security vulnerabilities.
Black Duck also manages https://www.openhub.net/ which indexes open source code to identify code by fragments and code reused by other projects. So ...

As long as you bring the items into a hierarchical form (list of lists) and they have public properties, things will work nicely and easily.

I ended up using Visual Studio's pre-compiler to translate my source files via macro definitions. In a second step I'm using PowerShell to replace/add some special formatting characters that the pre-compiler would remove/ignore.
Since I'm using CMake, here is the script I've tested:
Work Item Studio, developed by Microsoft, does that.
Work Item Studio, a Microsoft Garage project, allows you to view,
create and edit work items from your projects on Visual Studio Online.
You can also see a list of all your queries, along with the number of
results in each of them. Quickly run your queries to see detailed
