I have recently switched from Firefox to Opera and my little laptop is getting hung up much less often.

I haven't figured out how to get the same bulk download capability for a specified file type such as mp3 or pdf that I was getting from FF + Down Them All.

Do I need an extension for this? If so can you recommend one?

Alternatively -- is is another lightweight browser that will not require a lot of retraining, and that is compatible with most FF add-ons?
