I have around 5 000 PDF books in a one folder. I'd like to find a software which can automatically fill in metadata in those PDF files, mostly author, title and year of publication. I tried Calibre. It works very well. Caliber takes information from Goole Books and Amazon.

But there is a big problem!! Calibre copies files into its own folder structure and, worse, it changes filenames.

I also tried AutoMetadata, and to my knowledge, it does not populate metadata automatically as the name suggests.

So I would need software that populates metadata without changing location files and without changing file names.
