Goal

Hi, I'm looking to learn another web stack for making Dapps (decentralized apps). I've searched into Ethereum, Oxen / Loki, and Cardano, but I don't know if any of them allow me the capabilities of a normal webserver.

What I need to be able to do

  • Ability to log into a Linux type server via SSH to make changes, and for the security keys to only be accessible by me (like how a normal webserver allows a password protected private ssh key for login). My fear is that by being decentralized, other's will have access to private areas they don't belong.
  • To be able to use the server just like a Linux server: make cron jobs, and execute whatever code for my needs (execute python / php scripts, etc).
  • To add any framework I need on the server (laravel, node.js, Django, etc). But if not, that's fine.
  • To add any database I want (nginx, apache, freeBSD, CentOS, etc).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
