I've installed APT version of gThumb and have found out that it fails to play audio and video files (with the Audio/Video support extension enabled). Several days ago, when I had a lot of apps installed, it played them. So I guess the extension requires some libraries to work, but I cannot identify which ones. Here is the list of packages I had installed via APT:

ffmpeg
kazam
vokoscreen-ng
recordmydesktop
simplescreenrecorder

I've also noticed that installing gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad (with 59 additional packages) will make gThumb to play audio in video files, but not video itself.

What libraries should I install to make the Audio/Video support extension work?
