I am seeking recommendations for tools to boost the overall volume level on a Windows machine.
I would like to use it to amplify music, videos, and video conferencing tools.
Requirements:
- It needs to work on a system-wide level, and not tied to only working within a specific application.
- It must work on Windows 7. If it also works on Windows 8.1 and/or 10, that's a plus as well.
- It must be under 10 €/$. Gratis (free of charge) would be nice, but not required. Please, nothing that requires a subscription.
- Must not require any internet access.
Preferences:
- I strongly prefer software that can be manually installed, instead of requiring an installer. This isn't a requirement, but is a strong preference. If such an app can even be portable, all the better.
- If the application also has an equalizer (or something similar, like bass boost), that's a plus, but not required.
- Open-source is preferred, but also not required.
