I'm curious to know if there's any free (maybe open source too?) software out there for simulating different types of adhesives.

I am not looking for professional/engineering software like autodesk/adobe/creo stuff, or anything that costs money. Just something for a hobbyist to play with. Preferably software that runs natively on macOS (recent macOS, not Snow Leopard).

I've already had trouble finding basic material simulation software for macOS, and the one program I could find didn't even work (crashed all the time) because it was abandoned like a decade ago. But, I'm still curious if anyone has any recommendations that I've never heard of. They could be interesting to check out.
