Is there a software managing graph-structured directories? Preferably on Mac.

A common directories structure is tree-like, and a plethora of software exists to manage them. But what about general graph structures, and acyclic graphs in particular? Links (symbolic in Unix systems) allow us share files and folders between multiple folders, so a general graph structure emerges. So we could, for example, intersect and unite folders in a suitable file manager.

It not must be exactly files and folders, any implementation of such structure of items would be good.
