When I research topics on the Internet, I find that my searches — regardless of which search engine I use (Google, DuckDuckGo, etc) — are inundated with poor quality results. The results are webpages apparently designed to attract 'clicks', and they tend to be composed to templates filled-in with irrelevant details and public-domain images. I would not be exaggerating to say that these deceptive sites make searching for quality information online extremely difficult.

Is there software, or perhaps other methods, for automatically filtering out such search results?
