Im appending data to a PDF file with code, and it needs to be able to support XRefStreams. But I cant seem to find any well explained libraries to use for compression. Node-forge seems to have the flatedecode compression and decompression, but I don't find documentation about that part. Its guide only says that it can do it, but there are no examples on how to actually do it.

Can someone suggest a straightforward JS library that can inflate and deflate (with parameters like column and predictor) or explain to me how to use node-forges capabilities and what exactly are the parameters column and predictor?
