I'm in the process of switching from Windows to Mac OS at work. I've spent a little time looking, but I've been unable to find a good program for browsing and modifying archive files (like zip and rar files) without extracting them.

This seems like a pretty common feature of Windows archiving programs (e.g. WinZip and WinRAR), but all the Mac programs I've tried seem to be able to do little more than extract archives to the filesystem.

tl;dr: I want good Mac application that can open zip, rar, tar.gz, etc. files and show the contents like this:

WinRAR archive file browser
