I have been looking for a charting tool, that draws time-based series as line charts (temperature and humidity in my case), for display in a kiosk-mode client browser (recycling a 1st gen iPad in my case).

Currently my data is fed into a MariaDB instance and rendered using a Grafana instance. This works, but is quite heavy on the client browser. The Grafana chart uses about 3MB of JavaScript and other resources and there seem to be known memory leaks.

My 1st gen iPad is not able to show the chart (in it's safari browser), while other clients do.

Now I am looking for a replacement of Grafana, that is lighter to the client, but similar in features, like described above.

Preferably there also exists some kind of online demo / sandcastle which I could use to check, whether my 1st gen iPad can handle it.
