1. We have a use-case for testing where we have to make Java request to a service with different IPs and with custom HTTP header in request. Can someone suggest any application/tool by which we can do this?

  2. We have considered JMeter to send request : https://www.blazemeter.com/blog/using-ip-spoofing-simulate-requests-different-ip-addresses-jmeter/ But from my research i found that we can't generate TestPlan for Jmeter in Java (Correct me if i am wrong).

  • Why does that need to be Java? The service seems to be reachable over the network, so this could be done in any programming language. You can't generate a test plan ... in Java? Isn't a test plan a document? Why would you write that document in Java and not in English? As a former test manager, I admit I have no idea what you are talking about. – Thomas Weller Jul 17 '19 at 19:38
  • We use traffic Manager for traffic filtering which requires some traffic rules. We need a way to test those traffic rules. Rules are related to blocking IP Addresses, Analyzing Http headers and body etc. Traffic manager also routes request to other Java ARest Services. – Naman_Jain Jul 24 '19 at 6:11
