The question: Is there a linux distribution, just for RDP access to a Windows terminal server?

Let's say you have a Windows terminal server that can be accessed from anywhere to be used like your own computer, that's installed on a vServer.

Here's my intention:

  • Connecting to a Windows vServer with RDP, using it as a personal computer (already have it)
  • Carry a cheap and small notebook with limited specs and nothing but an RDP client installed
  • Other than the RDP client, the operating system doesn't need to provide anything

Linux seems to be a good setup, since it's lightweight. Ideally, I'm looking for a distro that just provides an RDP client and automatically connects. Having that, it would create a seemless experience from cheap hardware to a powerful Windows operating system.
