I am planning on programming a Android App with simple Voice commands. The basic idea is to have a handfull of commands which can be given by two different people.

Is there a good Android Library which offers:

  • Continuous recognition, meaning the Phone will be placed with the App open and listen for a few Keywords
  • Multiple Speakers, meaning that two people can recognized as separate users

To avoid unnecessary battery drain and network usage offline would be highly preferred. It does not need to understand complex sentences, short commands or even only keywords would be enough.

I am not yet set on a language, so anything that works on android would be okay. Java / Kotlin would be preferred thought.

Being able to use it commercially would be a nice to have but is not a must have, any free licensing model would be sufficient enough. This is more of a prototype thing.

Any recommendations ?
