I made a 32k x 8 ROM program in Excel but can't figure out how to convert these ASCII characters into a true binary file that i can import into my ROM programming program. For example I'm trying to say in the picture below that the all these lines here should be 0's in the program, but it's doing the ASCII conversion. I've tried multiple ways using Notepad, Notepad++, other online converters but nothing is working. I guess my next step would be to make a python script to do this, but I'd rather not have to if there are other tools available. Thanks!

  • Why the reluctance to use Python? If you had started working on it instead of writing this question, you probably would have already finished it by now. :) – John Y May 17 '19 at 14:53
  • Hi Jared. Thanks for the details. Can you update the question to reflect them? Thanks! – RockPaperLz- Mask it or Casket May 17 '19 at 18:43
