Hello friends and foes!

My intention is to run a server with a database that can be viewed through a web application.

  1. This is a group project. Most of my people have never seen python, so simplicity is key.
  2. I'd like to be able to isolate the work to frontend and backend, so linking those two should be as easy as possible without reinventing the wheel.
  3. Some of those beforementioned group partners know some JS, so if there's a nifty frontend JS framework I don't know of, that can be easily combined with Django backend let's say, I'd be super happy.

I want my group partners to be able to start coding without worrying too much about what's going on on "the other side". So setting up the connection between the front- and backend for them to be able to work is what I'm trying to do, even if it means learning both myself.

... HELP! ...

Thank you for your time in advance and have a great day.

Sincerely, a stressed group leader.
