Currently using system.net.mail but I cannot send from certain smtp servers lately. I can send from gmail's smtp IF I specify in google to allow "less secure program access". I'm assuming that I can't send from smtp servers that require "implicit SSL" because my understanding is system.net.mail only supports "explicit SSL" which is less secure. I'm looking for a recommendation for an email library for dotnet where I can send email from any smtp server in my vb.net program as easily as I can from, for example, my iPhone. All that would be needed is to specify smtp server name, username, pw, ports, whether to use ssl, etc. and it just works... that's what I'm looking for. system.net.mail doesn't do it....
