All right folks let me rephrase what i looking for: 1. My client need a solution for NPM repository madness, they want to store locally all required java script library's and then later review it for security and put it for developers so they pull those library s first. 2. To establish a maintainable and stable state of this repo, it should be possible to run tests against the external library s. 3. It should be opensource products, meaning no further investment planed

Are you asking for software to run a repo – or are you looking for a repo to pull modules from (ie. one someone else already hosts)? – Izzy Dec 6 at 15:09

good point, well i need a software to run a repo and a software which is a local repo to pull modules, so yes two different goals must be met. – Alexander Orlovsky Dec 6 at 15:39

OK then: had you asked for a repo "somewhere out there" you could use to pull from, it had been off-topic here :) May I suggest you edit your question accordingly? Also include details like on what OS it should run, how much money you'd be willing to spend if necessary, and other criteria that seem important to you (features, interface, maintenance etc if there are any you didn't yet include). – Izzy Dec 6 at 16:56
  • Errm… Alex, edit that into your question, please :) Few people read beyond the first 2 comments :) – Izzy Dec 7 at 11:09
