Looking for a plugin/extension for either/or Chrome or Firefox that will display an icon or other visual notification if the SSL certificate a site uses is signed by a specific CA. Should work for Linux, Mac, and Windows machines...

Basically, the IT department at the school I go to has started doing Deep Packet Inspection, which I consider to be somewhat of a man-in-the-middle attack. While I don't have any choice in not using the wireless network, I'd like to know when I'm using a page if it has been MITM'd or if it is truly secure, basically by having said extension/plugin change color, etc. if the SSL CA is a specific cert.

I could (and probably will) end up coding this myself, but I figure to ask before reinventing the wheel.
