There are a number of GUI website builders floating around such as EverWeb, Flux, Pinegrow, Stylizer, and so forth. Has anyone found a particular one to be the most clean and robust?

My use case is that I need to build some static sites, but I also need to develop some themes for Rails apps and other webapp frameworks and CMS platforms.

I'm leaning towards Pinegrow at the moment, but I'd really be curious to hear some experiences with other options as well.

  • Do you have a budget here? What OS do you want it to run on (if local app)? Do you have any must haves?

  • No real budget, dev should be done on macOS as per the title, but deployable to Linux servers @MichaelNancarrow.
