I recently acquired a laptop with touchscreen / active stylus capabilities. I wish to use a portion of my screen as what would essentially be a Virtual Pen Pad.

I would like to map my pen input to a part of the screen so that when the pen is used in that area the mouse cursor will move to the position of the screen it resembles.

Is there any software that gives this functionality?

Example: Virtual Pen Pad Example

In this example, if I use the pen in the Virtual Pen Pad area, the mouse pointer will move to the respective mapped location on the screen.

  • Found more than a few blog posts asking how to make Windows STOP moving the mouse cursor to touch position (it follows in Linux afaik, not sure on Mac). Found this - lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us – ivanivan Apr 2 '18 at 19:56
