I want to let our users edit some proprietary scripts, which are essentially XML files, online. We can supply an XSD which can be used to provide validation, intelligent code completion and syntax highlighters.

Are there any available online services that provide this kind of capability to businesses?

  • Does Google Docs Viewer help? – mk117 Apr 6 '14 at 7:15
  • I am willing to learn, but I don't see any support for XSD there. Am I missing something? – Vadim Berman Apr 7 '14 at 8:24
  • Sorry, didn't notice the XSD. I'd recommend these 3 addons for Google Drive / Dropbox :: XML Editey, source, Codeanywhere, source, and Xmlfuzz, source – mk117 Apr 7 '14 at 9:11
  • Hmm... Are you sure even one of them supports intelligent code completion and XSD? – Vadim Berman Apr 7 '14 at 10:01

There!!! That's the ticket. Thanks a lot. The funny thing is, I know Altova, but I did not realise they had a cloud service. I don't see a way to upvote a comment, but if you publish it in an answer, I will upvote it as much as I can. Thanks again. – Vadim Berman Apr 7 '14 at 12:22
