For example, you can forward any syslog events directly to logstash on port 631 (i believe). Then log stash would store it in a database. It maybe more complex, but it offers more options. | |

super-speedy-syslog-searcher can help merge adhoc log formats, or prepend each line with a particular datetime stamp. Unfortunately, it appears your log files only have an hour and minute is that true? There may not be enough information for super-speedy-syslog-searcher to work with.
